Projects and data
Understand supported manuscript formats, workspace access, retention, and how project data is used.
Input formats
Use a PDF project to analyze an already compiled manuscript. CciipScope extracts the paper structure, references, figures, and tables. PDF projects are read-only and cannot export modified source or compile a new PDF.
LaTeX ZIP
Upload the complete LaTeX archive and select the actual main .tex file during project creation. In addition to analysis, the workspace can export the source and, when local compilation is configured, build a new PDF.
Access token
Each project receives an access token beginning with ppr_. The complete token is shown only once and must be supplied whenever the workspace is opened again.
Retention
By default, a project is deleted after 30 consecutive days without access. Opening the workspace refreshes its last-access time. Deleting a project removes its original upload, parsed files, analysis artifacts, and project logs.
What a project stores
- The uploaded PDF or LaTeX archive.
- Parsed paper text, section structure, figures, and tables.
- Search results and generated analysis artifacts.
- Project-level model interaction records used to diagnose output failures.
These files remain on the machine running CciipScope and are not part of the source repository.
How data is used
Manuscript content is sent to the model provider selected for the project. The research-landscape stage also sends topic-derived queries to configured search services. The exact data boundary therefore depends on those providers. Review their privacy terms before submitting sensitive or unpublished work.
